
Maui Disaster Case Management Program (DR-4724-HI)
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has allocated resources to facilitate the Disaster Case Management Program (DCMP) in Maui, as part of the ongoing recovery efforts after wildfires affected the island of Maui in September 2023. (DR-4724-HI). The DCMP is administered by the Hawaii Department of Human Services, with DSC-SVDP overseeing the work of seven Community Based Organizations (CBOs) providing Outreach Care and Disaster Case Management Services. The CBOs are Catholic Charities of Hawaii, Family Promise, Family Life Center, Global Empowerment Mission, Pacific Gateway Center, Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement, and Aloha House.

Case Management for Disaster Recovery is a free service which partners an individual or household to work with a trained Disaster Case Manager (DCM) 1-on-1. The DCM will perform an assessment of your needs and help you to access eligible resources. A DCM will advocate on behalf of the individuals and families with FEMA, Insurance companies, the Small Business Administration (SBA), and provide survivors with other disaster related services.
